Is there anywhere I can see it in advance as I'm trying to book for family and wouldn't like to second guess what they would choose....

Allears.net is a great resource for menus. However, you can always just wait to order when you get there. It should only take a few minutes. :thumbsup2

I've been checking daily and am excited to see November finally open. The day we're trying to land is November 8th. I see someone people are getting dates as far out as the 10th. When I log into the site on my computer, I see only through November 4th. If I log in on my phone, I see through November 5th. Am I doing something wrong? No dates are showing beyond that.

Thanks!

When do you check in (first date of hotel reservation) as you can currently only book up to 7 days from then. For days 8/9/etc you need to wait until you arrive on-site.

Hello All,

I'm hoping some of you can help me with this. I have read the first post several times to make sure I am not missing anything, but I haven't read through the entire thread, so my apologies if this issue has already been addressed. TIA!

We are going to Disney through MAW, and since we are driving, I have extended our stay by one day before GKTW and one day after. I have booked two separate hotel rooms for one night approximately a week apart (split stay) so I have two different reservation numbers.

The first is for 11/8-11/9, and I, being curious to see if the system would work for me, went ahead and followed the steps outlined in the first post and got a BOG lunch FP for 11/9. It was simple and it worked out perfectly. Trial successful.

Here's my problem. The second reservation that I have is for 11/15-11/16. We are planning on being in MK on 11/15. This is the date and number that I really need to get that FP with. But now the first reservation is attached to my MDE account and apparently I am not able to change the reservation number in the lunch FP system. And the earlier stay doesn't give me the date of 11/15 as an option.

Does anyone have any advice for me? I would rather keep both reservations under my MDE account. I am afraid a second MDE account could cause some confusion, especially since I've already ordered the magic bands associated with that hotel stay. Do I have to wait until after 11/9 to be able to change that? I guess I am not sure why I can't log in with either reservation number since they are different stays on different dates. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks Andre, that must be it because we check-in October 30th. Question though, you mentioned we need to do the reservation on-site, does that mean once we check in the other days will open up? Or we just have to try to get a standby spot?

So what happens if I want to change days (not just times) when it opens up? Right now I am set for Nov. 11 but I would prefer the 14th. Do I risk losing the first date if I try to modify? Someone else asked this but I didn't see an answer...

When I changed the time on my FP+, the old FP+ was not cancelled until I confirmed the new one. Should work the same for changing the day, as long as your reservation will allow you to see/book for that later date (not more than 7 days from check-in).

The only way to grab a second ressie is to create a second account. You can only use one reservation number per account. Even if you go back in 6 months you would need another account. The BOG site is not connected to MDE so no worries there. I have a total of 5 accounts open right now for BOG. Again, it is not connected to MDE. Good Luck! :thumbsup2

So it doesn't matter if the reservation is already linked to my one MDE account? I can just set up a new disney.com account and still use the reservation number? The system doesn't check if the number matches what is linked to MDE?

Thanks for your help! I appreciate it. :)

EDIT: I did it! That was so not as complicated as I thought it would be! Thank you so very much! Now I just wait a few days for the 15th to open up. :)

Is it better (faster) to order food in advance?

Also, if I order food for the family and someone would like something different, is it a problem to change it when we arrive? We are surprising the kids so they won't have the opportunity to view the menu if I pre-select for them.

And last, I have a print-out of my confirmation. Is this all I need to bring, and an ID when I check in?

Thank you for your help :)

The BOG site is linked somehow. I used by Nov 2013 RO ressie for a BOG FP+ last year. When I logged into the BOG site last month, it already had the dates from my Nov 2014 RO reservation without me having to update anything. There is a link somewhere, somehow...:scratchin

I went to the site to try and book a fp but it said non were available and now it won't let me back in to keep checking. It says guest already registered. What do I do? Thanks for the help

Correct, the BoG Lunch booking system is a completely separate site and not connected at all to My Disney Experience. You create a new account there which is nothing to do with your MDE/disney.com accounts, and attach the same reservation number (that you may have also used in MDE, but that doesn't matter) to it.

Cool! Good to know. :thumbsup2 Thank you so much!

I am currently at the Magic Kingdom- when I arrived today I asked the cast member about the fastpasses for BOG for lunch- she checked and was not able to tell me anything- she asked a manager and he didn't know what is going on. So I came in person- the cast member at BOG couldn't tell me anything either- the only thing she said was if you want to check with them in person early in the morning as to what they are doing for the day- if they are giving out more fastpasses then or not or if you can wait in line. I asked why some people got invitations to book and the rest didn't- they have no clue. I just told her to pass on that the BOGLunch site is having problems - and many people are upset. So they better come up with a better system . Oh well- it's not the cast members fault, it's someone higher up trying to make thinks better....I guess we just have to bare with them. So all of us who waited up until Midnight a week before the date wanted are out of luck!
Sorry, I tried to get some answers!

Thank you! Still somehow afraid that it's not the same as just changing the time, but I will be brave and give it a shot!:goodvibes

I would just wait and order when you get there. Ordering in advance is a little bit faster, but not much, and not at all if you end up having to change something or even look at the menu when you get there to decide if you want to change something. You might as well just wait and order there. The food comes out very quickly. We barely had time to find a table before our food was delivered, and we did not pre order.

Hey, I don't know if this was posted. But I just got dinner reservations to BOG, on Nov 4th. There are times listed for the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. I didn't check after that, I got a 7PM time slot, so I'm super stoked!:cheer2:
