Be our guest for breakfast

So I'm going in late January and the only time to get into BOG was for breakfast. I really haven't seen breakfast talked about too much on here. Is the food good there, and just in general what are some opinions about BOG in the morning?

Thank you!

We went for breakfast on our last trip in May and LOVED it. The food was delicious. I know I have read complaints about prices and some do not like the options, but we were on dining plan, so the price wasn't an issue for us, and I personally found the food lovely.

We loved it!! We were able to score a second breakfast during our stay last year and scooped it up

Awesome! We are on the dining plan too and was surprised that breakfast isnt considered a sit down meal and uses a quick meal voucher. So needless to say that was a nice surprise! But I'm glad to hear that the food is good. I just need to do more research about BOG in general!

In my experience, the breakfast food is kind of meh. We love breakfast, and lukewarm sugar bombs don't do it for us.

I think that it might work best if you like to share with your table-mates. There is enough variety of sweet and savory that everyone can have some of each.

We really loved it! The experience of walking into a quiet park was nice. The food was good, everyone enjoyed their meal. And being in Fantasyland before rope drop craziness was a huge bonus. We are doing it again this year

Good and expensive.

Agreed. I think it's better than the standard bounty platter/waffles breakfast stuff you'll get in your average WDW resort, but man, are they sticking it to you with those prices. We ate there early on when you didn't have to take out a 2nd mortgage on your house to get a cronut. With the current price point I wouldn't pay it, but YMMV.

For anyone who has done breakfast, are the portions big enough to split? We've been to BOG for lunch and have no problem splitting the turkey or roast beef sandwich.

We have done breakfast and will do it again. We were on the dining plan so it was nice that it was a quick service. What we did though was go on an EMH day and do everything we wanted early and had the latest breakfast they would do. By the time we got our breakfast and started eating, hardly anyone in the room, it was nice to relax and look around before the lunch crowd started. We got two different things and shared them, which really made for a nice variety with the pastry tray we had.

I'm pleased to hear good comments about breakfast. I personally would prefer Mickey Waffles sausage etc as I feel like we would stay fuller since we won't go to Ohana until 7 pm that night. It would be ideal to do that late breafast option, in that case, but I think I prefer to get into the park early (8 am breakfast) because its not EMH that day. Thoughts?

I like the breakfast food but I think it's overpriced. I would not eat if it meant giving up precious early park time, I do like it for a late breakfast if I'm not going to do a lunch and dinner. We always take a zip lock bag for all the pastry extras.

If you'd rather another meal, don't ever give up trying. I myself have cancelled a dinner 5-6 times the week of, right up until day before. Just now I picked up a BOG Lunch for Monday, so less than 48 hours out.
