We ate there recently. The food was not great, but the experience was. I had the lamb chop and my DH had the steak. Both were over cooked despite ordering them medium rare. Our son is not a picky eater, and he was considered a disney infant. He just ate a couple of bites of our food then promptly fell asleep with his head on the table. This is NOT normal behavior for him, and it was only day 2 of our trip. He was one of 3 table around us with sleeping kids (varying ages). I think the dimly lit restaurant caused them to pass out. It was quite adorable - especially considering we were dressed in our Dalmatian costumes for
MNSSHP.
I would never tell someone not to experience the restaurant for dinner if you have a ressie. The pic with Beast was awesome, and it's worth experiencing the atmosphere. Just don't go in expecting it to be the best meal at Disney. I think our lowered expectation kept us from being disappointed.
