Lunch time does begin at 10am. Last spring 2022 they did offer a crab topped omelet as an adult entree from 10-12:00 and also a kids meal that included a Mickey shaped omelet and Mickey shaped waffle with bacon and potatoes. The fixed price for these offerings was the same as the other menu offerings.
I’m not sure if these are still offered, but the 10am opening lunch time has not changed.

For what it may be worth, some blogger I read said there's talk that they're soon to do tryouts of a brunch menu similar to what GF Cafe has.

That's why the 10:00 opening time IF this is true.

Disney's site shows 10 AM is the lunch start time and the menu no longer has any brunch type items.

Nope, lunch. I know lots of folks who eat breakfast at 6 am and then are ready for lunch as early as 10 (not me) OR skip breakfast and eat an early lunch (me). Though BOG is a bit heavy for that early.

Lunch – 10:00 AM to 2:55 PM
Dinner – 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM

A YEAR AGO Disney tested a couple "brunch" items on the lunch menu - waffles for kids and adults, and crab omelet for adults, and a kid plate with eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffle ... I don't think it lasted very long. My guess is for the high price point no one is going to order breakfast over a 3 course meal.

Agreed, but at other brunch menus we've had, you could order a mix of breakfast and lunch items if you wanted.

I could see ordering a cheese/charcuterie platter, an omelette and a lunch-like dessert for a prix fixe at BOG.

Probably just a rumor based on the breakfast dishes tryout.
