I am trying to figure out what is up.

Today was my 180+10 so I called to make ADRs (nightmare).

I asked for BOG, dinner on 9/23. Only time available was 9 PM. I had them check every night we are there, 8:45 was the earliest.

How is this possible? Even with the whole +10 thing I find it hard to believe they are booked 5 hours straight every night.

I played around with the group size, leaving grandparents to fend for themselves, and still nothing.

Any idea what is going here? Is it really just booked?

I logged in this morning at 6:00am and BOG was the first ADR I searched for since it's so popular. We are going there on 9/21/13 and the only time slot it showed for me was 7:05, which I snagged. I didn't check any other days though.

I did mine yesterday for Sept 24 and had several choices...my only thoughtis tha maybe b/c it is a weekend they are more booked?

I booked yesterday for our trip (9/20-9/27) and there were multiple BOG options for the 21st, 24th, and 25th. I was able to book a 6:40 pm reservation for the 21st and a 5:30 for the 24th. With all of the times that I saw available I can't believe they were all booked up between yesterday and today. One note, I did have to book all my reservations through the old Disney reservations site. The new site wouldn't show me any availability beyond 9/20.

I saw this morning around 8ish that they had a bunch open, for the 9/22 and 9/23, but now I cant even get on the site. Really mad right now.:furious:

3/18 was our 180+10 day, & I booked an ADR for Be our Guest for 9/23.

For our party of 5, I only had a choice of 2 times - 4:55 or 8:30, so I took the 4:30 pm.

Our Be our Guest ADR is for our 10th night, so, on my 180+10 ADR date, I wasn't "competing" w/ as many people for ADRs, if that makes sense. I think that's the only reason I was able to get an ADR.

It puzzles me how when you try to make a res at your 180 + day mark and they have few choices if you can get one. I got one but am thinking about cancelling because they are playing us. Sorry Disney, I do not care about this one.

I was able to get BOG for september 22 at 8:30 on my 180 mark. Funny i couldn't book it online untill today, but i was able to get the ressie when i called on sunday september22 is my birthday

Maybe it's not going to be open for MNSSHP and usually the party is like 3 nights per week?

Maybe people going that week are all trying to squeeze in on the nights it's open.

just an FYI....

was able to book BOG for september 25th at 5:30pm
there were several options available for dinner- 4:30, 4:40, 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 7:00, etc.

The first person told me it wasn't open - I called today and she said that it was open but only from 4-7 on party nights so those dates had less reservations than other nights

If you have a reservation for 6.30pm on a party night and BOG closes at 7pm does this mean that as soon as the clock hits 7pm you will be given the hurry up to finish your food or is it just a case that no new guests will be allowed in after 7pm and they let people take their time to finish eating order dessert etc?

You can finish your meal. After your meal you will be nicely told to exit the park, or you may be escorted to the front.

Thanks for the answer, I had this vision of being rushed through the meal but I am glad that this is not the case. I am really looking forward to eating at BOG and checking out the diff rooms in the castle.

180+10 was on 3/25 for me and the only time we could get BOG on 9/26 was 4:50! I took it but will be looking as time goes on. They said that MK is open until 10 that night so it is not affected by Party. I believe the time we are there (9/21-10/1) the Party is on Tuesday and Friday based on the time MK closes that week.

It is crazy that I could not get earlier. I also could not get a later ressie to T-Rex for 9/24. It is at 4:00! Nothing else!

Are you searching for an odd-numbered party size? If so, try for a party size one larger, and there will be a lot more availability in general.

9/23 isn't a Halloween party night, so that shouldn't be the problem. This is one of the slowest weeks of the year at WDW, in the lull before F&W begins.

I did my 180 day thing just a few days ago, and did some searching for BoG reservations just from curiosity. (We've already eaten dinner there, just want to check out lunch next time.) I found several reservations even at prime hours, so I'm surprised that the +10 option isn't helping.

Some dining locations are slow to get their seatings loaded into the system, but I've not heard about this happening at BoG. My gut tells me there are seatings available for your time, that the unavailability isn't a result of everything being already booked.

ETA: I just did a bit of research - on 9/25-26-27, I found seatings available for parties of 2 and 4, but none of parties of 6. Another possibility is to try for two reservations, and then try to see if you can sit together when it comes time to check in.

That is funny. I just checked 9/26 and it said no times available for dinner. Am I doing something wrong?

I can only guess. Rather than asking for "dinner", put in a specific time, and remember that it will search for 90 minutes before and after the time you give it. (If you're on the old site, 2 hours before and after.)

And like I said, be sure you're searching for an even number of guests.

If that doesn't work, maybe it just likes me!

LOL. It probably does! I decided that our 4:50 is not bad. By the time seated and ordered it will be about 5:30 anyway. Thanks!

Oh, and about your T-Rex issue - I can almost promise you that if you call T-Rex directly you will have your pick of times for a reservation. (A quick search should turn up the phone number.)

It's a well-known secret that only a small proportion of their seatings are in the Disney system. They keep most of them for themselves.
