On the Disney App, what does the asterisk denote?
Feast a la Gaston and open faced bacon and egg sandwich, for example, both have an asterisk. I though maybe it was related to the warning for undercooked meat and eggs, but the roast beef sandwiches were also asterisked.

Edit: unless the roast beef is cooked to order?

Your guess is correct about the meaning. The menu on the full website contains the full note in the description of each asterisked menu item: *This item may contain raw or undercooked ingredients. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.

I don't know that they necessarily cook the roast beef to order, but roast beef is not always prepared well done. I haven't had it at BOG but I would guess the warning is there for liability purposes in case some of the beef is served less than well done.
