I was just able to get a 7:50am ADR at BOG on the Tuesday after Easter when the park opens at 8am. I didn't realize they had ADRs before 8am and grabbed it for the chance to get in the park a little early.

Questions: What time will I be let in the park? What time is the earliest ADR time? We aren't doing this for A&E or 7DMT as we have FP+ for that already. It's more to have the time on Main Street before everyone else and not have to be in the rope drop crowds. However if we finish eating at 8:30, what will lines for the rest of fantasyland be like at the point on a level 9 day? I would hope that half hour wouldn't make too much of a difference for the non-headliner rides?

:welcome: to the DISboards, Espndeuce!

1. Figure about 7:30 to 7:40-ish. (Depends on the CMs who happen to be in charge that day.)
2. Unknown (looks like it might be 7:30AM,) because, as you said, they usually don't offer ADRs that early.
3. Busy.
4. A half-hour is a very long time on a day when guests will be streaming into the park
like bb's pouring into a bottle through a funnel.

If you really don't need to hit the Fantasyland area since you've got FP, I'd head over to Frontierland and do that part early in the morning, since most people will be in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. We did Tomorrowland before we left the park at night and found it slower and much less of a wait time

Agreed.
Splash and BTMRR can be virtual "walk-ons" in the early mornings.

Yep! Frontierland and Adventureland are "ghost" lands first thing in the morning. We hit BTMRR, Splash, HM, Pirates, Carpets, Jungle Cruise, Swiss Family Tree House and a character greet in less than 2 hours minutes once.

Thank you for your responses. I have a 4yr old daughter so priorities for her (and my husband) are characters. I'm thinking I will cancel the ADR and go with my original plan to rope drop, do a couple things and then get the two of them in line for Merida while my 7yr old son and I do a few other rides.

I see they have a 7:30 am on that Monday. Did they change the park opening hour to 8:00 am that week. I read on other posts they open parks earlier on busy weeks? Or is it due to EMH?

1. I wonder if they are changing the park opening hour to 8:00 am that week.

3. Or is it an EMH?

1. Likely.
2. They often do that for very busy dates.
3. They don't change early ADR times for AM EMH.

Yes the week after Easter MK is open at 8am all week. They haven't yet added the morning EMH at 7am like years past.
