Now just 1, I had a previous but someone who was abit of a ..witch... joined with a very similar name so I changed mine to avoid confusion.

I only use one - I don't really get the whole undercover name - I mean this is anonymous anyway - you control how much personal info, if any, you choose to share - so why the need for another login?

But now that I think about it, I did create another account a few years ago when I wanted to get opinions about buying a diamond anniversary ring for DW. She was (and still is) a lurker on the CB and I didn't want her to find out.

Just this one... but why would someone 'need' mire than one? Well, there are posters, especially on the Community Board, who have an issue so bad they don't want to use their recognizable name but they still need advice; or somebody they know reads the DIS and knows their user name and they don't want the friend/relative to know it's them.

And there are people who just want to role things up without getting in trouble...and who don't realize the WebMasters here really do have a mastery and can trace them

Okay, I confess. I'm not really me. I'm one of ford family's alternate DIS personae. I/she/he does this so we can discuss different or opposing aspects of a topic without looking as if we're talking to ourselves

I contemplated once making a new one to discuss a very initmate matter, but decided to stick to this one, knowing that there are so many great people here who "know" me and who´d rather be willing to give great replies to someone they know than a complete stranger. I never regretted that decision!

Just one here but on some local boards/news sites, I have a few. Don't want to get the look if I speak my mind on them and neighbors don't agree with me.
