Be Careful Using MySpace

I just really find Myspace pointless. This further helps prove my theory. Also there are 6 suspected MySpace murders, that I found out on the news.

Also on Channel One, did you all see the MySpace special. There were these kids on there that posted pics of them getting drunk, and they broke their probation and ended up being arrested. So be careful of what you put on there.

I don't use MySpace, and don't see any need for it. I see all of these people saying that they only "talk to their friends", and I'm puzzled. Couldn't you just IM them? Am I missing something?

my dad wont let me get a myspace he says that to go on you need to give out to much info. but a lot of my friends have a Myspace and their perents dont even know... i heard a couple of the teachers in my school talking and one of them said that she wouldnt even let her 15 year old son go on Myspace and there are like 11 year olds that go on that site.... Frankly ii dont want to have a username on that site cuz well i dont it is just another wast of time way to Im and go into chat rooms ,message boards and other stuff like that with you friends

Well, myspace predators can just get your name and right away get information you..like those surveys you take "how tall are you", "Date of birth", "Location", "School name"...etc..and pictures especially. I mean, myspace is kinda pointless, there are other things out there! Phone, email, aim, letters? Some people may have myspace to keep in contact with people out of state or something, but its unsafe. My mom said it use to something good but its turned into something bad. I bet some of you say that it could never happen to you but you never know...just your name could give a predator everything about you..

Duh! I think everyone knows that! There was just a special here on tv about it. And well..i was one of the ones who was always on it but i never had any strangers on there i didnt know but, once a guy sent a message to me and i didnt know who he was or how he did because he wasnt even my friend..and he said something really nasty but it was a good thing i blocked him. I know we cant worry about it, and i did tell my parents "It wont happen to me" but i dunno. Sorry if i made you mad??

I live in tennessee. Why would some sexual predator who lives half way across the united states travel all the way to tennessee to find ME? am I really that important? no. i'm not. If they are just out to hurt people and not a stalker, they will take any chance they get. and that chance is right outside their front door. Yes, there are predators in my town. I'm sure of it. But I'm not obsessive about it. You can't spend your whole life looking over your shoulder and not telling your age or something like that ebcause soemone MIGHT hurt you. jmo.
