Be Careful - Do Not Book With This Agency!! -- Please

Please do not book future resort or package stays with Explore the Magic Travel Agency. I booked our honeymoon through one of their agents and have had the worst experience which has now just ended and left me in tears. We booked about 8 months ago and on 1/1 when the discount code for January came out i told my TA to please apply it to our reservation. She said she would and would call me with confirmation within the hour. She never called me back. I've tried for the past four days to email and call her in hopes of contacting her to find out about this code. Finally i called disney myself, made a new reservation and applied the code myself. I then sent her an email requesting she cancel our package. Amazingly i got a response within 10 MINUTES and she was quite rude. I asked her to please not cancel our ADR's but she said that they may be canceled when she cancels the package, so she can't guarantee that.... Please be careful when considering using Explore the Magic!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with your TA. I can tell you for sure(I am a TA with a different agency) that when she cancels your resort reservations your ADR's are not automatically cancelled. She would need to specfically have the Dining reservationist cancel each and every one of your ADR's.

Did you by any chance get the confirmation numbers for the ADR's she made. Even if you didn't I would call Disney Dining and make sure your ADR's are still there. It will help them in finding them if you have the confirmation numbers but they can also check with your phone number.

Thanks so much - that makes me feel a little better. I will wait until I receive cancellation confirmation from my TA and then call disney and double check that all of my ADR's are still in place. I do have all of the confirmation numbers from those as well.

Is there any way I can call disney and have the ADR's transferred to my name so that she can't cancel them??? I have the confirmation numbers.

She can cancel them all by using the clients phone number.

and if you want to be "extra" sure she won't get vindictive (I don't know anything about this woman) you can change the phone number or name on the reservation as well

I would call now and just secure everything before she has a chance to change or cancel anything that you dont want to be touched
