Just found out a friends son and girlfriend went to WDW for approx 2wks. First half was spent at a Disney resort. The rest of the vacation was at another hotel/motel nearby.
The first half of the vacation went fine. However on the first day at the next hotel, upon returning to their room found a note from the manager stating "==== travel" has gone bankrupt and how do you intend to pay for your stay? They were forced to charge the entire stay at this hotel.
This is a young couple, probably on their first major trip. This is something which everyone should be aware. It can & does happen from time to time.
