We are planning on taking DD to Disney or any of the parks (FL) for her 2nd Bday...
What all perks do you get if you mention it is DCs Bday ? if any.
Is there anything special we can do with her (Princess Bday/Character Bday ?)
I have been going to Disney since I was 5 (I am now 32) ... DH and I have been a lot in the past 6 yrs of marriage but never with a child... :) So we are new to the parent and kid in Disney thing.I know it won't be her last trip tho :)

THANKS for any suggestions of how to make her Bday special!

DH will be celebrating his 30th during our trip. I made ADR's at CP during the 4th of July Fireworks and had them note it. She said I could order a 6 inch unpersonalize cake for $12.99. I'm sure the character will come and sing to him.

THANKS for the reply!!
COOL!! Hope he has a SPECIAL BDAY...I know it would be a special one esp celebrating at WDW :)

We took dd on her 4th birthday. I told them ahead of time, when booking the ressie. When we went to CRT breakfast, they had confetti on the table and brought out a birthday cupcake with a candle.

Since we go every year during dd's birthday, she gets the "royal treatment" every year. Although last year, they got mixed up and put the birthday confetti at the next table. They asked, "who had the birthday?" and none of them responded.

*THANKS*

I am excited about taking her for her Bday ... !!

Not that she will remember it but she will always have pictures and scrapbooks with all of her trip memories....

Be sure to ask for a special "Celebration" pin at guest services or at the ticket taker. They'll give you one gratis and all the CM seem to notice and say happy birthday, etc.

I took my DD for her 7th Bday. We had ressies at GF 1900 Park Fare for dinner with Cinderella and friends and breakfast at Chef Mickeys. Both places gave her a placemat signed by all the characters that were present and both brought her a cupcake with a candle and sung Happy Birthday. Chef Mickeys really did it up. Both places were fun. Also, when she had her Bday pin on, some of ``````````````````````the characters wrote Happy Bday in her autograph book when we were in the parks

Last year, we went for a week. Our DD's 6th birthday was the last day. Frankly, we spent the week celebrating. If you tell the restaurant where you have an ADR that it's your daughter's birthday, they'll do something, even if it isn't exactly the birthday. They brought her a cupcake at LTT for dinner (and Minnie Mouse helped her to blow the candle out), at "Ohana they gave her a muffin during breakfast, she got a card at CRT and, of course, at Chef Mickey's, she got to do the napkin twirl. They also gave her an autographed place mat.

At our hotel (POP Century), we got back during her birthday, and found balloons and a card from Ariel, her favorite princess.

The best night was while we were waiting for Spectromagic. She was talking to a little boy she just met, who told her that it was his birthday. The Cast Member in charge of crowd control heard this and led everybody to the right of us in Happy Birthday. Bridget then told her it was her birthday, and the CM led the crowd to our left in singing Happy Birthday.

We now know that, at least with birthdays, the rest of her life is just downhill. :)
