BCV's condition

Have read some recent reviews giving the BCV's some negative comments when it comes to the condition of the rooms ... kitchen areas items broken, lights problen, interenet not working, etc. Anybody been there lately that would like to comment? We will be there one week from today!

Been there three times this winter. Internet works perfect and although we stay in studios, everything has always been in good order for us.

I've stayed at BCV well over 10 times. Once, several years ago, my villa (a studio) looked very sad-stained furniture, chips in the wood, etc. Since then, however, everything's been very clean and in excellent shape. Once, I had a burnt out lightbulb and when I called maintenance, there was a maintenance man at my room within minutes. And he refused to just leave the lightbulb and let me change it. He did it himself promptly. I've always been pleased with the attention at BCV.

We just stayed in a BCV this past Feb. and everything (except the internet connection) was perfect. It seems the jack by the table was not working, but IT was able to explain to us how to hook directly into the modem under the nighttable. It was a little inconvienient to use this way, but we managed. They seemed to be aware that our room has this problem.

Last time we stayed there, the room was very clean and in good working order. No complaints here!

In 30 stays there since it opened and as recently as Nov, I have never experienced anything but clean and well maintained rooms.

Our BCV villa was great in November . No complaints. Maybe we had one light out, but they came up and replaced the bulb right away. Oh, we might have had a loose doorknob, also fixed right away. In the past, we have had issues with a freezer not working, so they brought us a whole new refrigerator/freezer once. Maintenance is excellent and room was in good shape .

Given that we hear the same sorts of things occasionally about every resort, BCV is probably no better or worse than any of the others when it comes to maintenance and housekeeping. As with all resorts, most of the rooms are just fine.

We've stayed there several times and always found to be clean. The only think I noticed is once you've been there enough you start to notice the cracks in the walls like working in a fine hotel

I was at BCV 3/13-17, in a studio. The internet worked fine, and the room appeared to be in perfect condition.

although everything usually works fine when we visit and although they just did a softy rehab i think they need to redo the furniture all together.
like I said, everything worked fine its just so stale in the rooms

We stayed for three weeks in January 2011 and two weeks in October 2009 in the same room. During the 2009 trip we reported that the “trim” brackets (hiding the wall screws) on the towel rack and toilet paper holder in the bathroom were not connected to the wall but were on the bars just rolling around. We reported it and they were fixed…for a day or two then they came away from the wall bracket again. This year in the same room the trim brackets were still “rolling” around the bar again. It was annoying to think that in a years time the towel and TP holders trim covers were in the same bad shape and not replaced. I guess the thinking is that this was a nonessential problem in the bigger scheme of things just as offering all networks selections on Disney cable TV.

I was there last week, (I am at the BWV presently) and I was very happy with the studio. Everything was so clean and it perfect condition.
Except.. the internet... It did not work. We called for help. They tried a cupple of things with the set up of our PC. It did not work. They sent a technicien the day after, he changed the modem and everything was perfect after.
