BCV

How many people?

The BCV studio has a queen size bed, a double-size sofa bed, and a bed which pulls down from under the TV. The pull-down bed is smaller than a twin size bed. If the sofa bed is pulled out and the pull-down bed is pulled down, there isn't much room to walk around. If you will have a stroller taking up even more of the floor space, it would be even harder to walk around.

Also, there is very limited storage space. When they put in the pull-down beds, they removed the dressers. And the bed is a platform bed, meaning you can't store your suitcases underneath it.

Are you thinking of renting points, or making a cash reservation through Disney? If you are thinking of a "better room" at BCV, that's a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom; if you're paying cash, that's going to be pricey. You can compare the cost of a regular room at Beach Club and at Yacht Club, which are likely to be cheaper than a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom. But the regular rooms charge an extra per-person fee based on the number of adults you will have.

I would think a moderator would move this because BCV is on Disney property and thus generally doesn't fall under the "Orlando Hotels and Attractions" category. It would more likely fall under "Disney Resorts" or one of the DVC categories.

My family of 4 always does the studio villas. Granted, two of our 4 are small kids, so they don't take up much space. But we tend to do longer trips (9-12 nights preferably), and there is quite a bit of luggage that comes with that, and we do the studios without issue. There was one time on our last trip when I would have liked an extra room (littlest one wasn't sleeping and it was disrupting the whole family). Otherwise we've been fine! I will say that we did BCV studio on our last trip and the storage was a bit limited - if storage is an issue, there are other DVC resorts with studios that have better storage. Copper Creek for instance, is really well thought out for storage, though the room itself is slightly smaller.

A for-cash studio at BCV is likely to be rare to impossible to get, besides.

It's an extremely popular DVC resort because close to Epcot, and studios almost always book full. DVC Members often must waitlist a stay there unless they're BCV owners.

I agree that rooms at BC or YC are more likely to be available to you.
