I realize BCV is one of hte smallest so I was wondering how hard is it to get ressies there if it is your home resort or how far out do you have to book to get what you want ?

We booked at the 7 month window and got into BCV. It CAN be done!

This is our home resort and we normally book @ the 11 month window. I did
add-on at SSR with the hopes or booking at BCV @ the 7 month window so
I will be interested to see the following posts.

I was looking about 7 days ago for some extra BCV studios for the end of June (so about 5 months out) to add to an existing ressie. There were a couple of the days available but not the whole thing.

We own BCV and usually book at the 11 month mark and have had no problems with that, including booking the dedicated 2BR with 2 Queen Beds.

If you really want BCV I would still buy BCV. If you don't mind staying at other resorts, then buy what you think you'll be happy with in case you can't get anything else.

We booked 7 months out and got BCV last May.

We booked at 7 months for September 07. No problems booking and so glad we did...it is definately one of my favorite resorts!!!!!

We booked at 7 months and got BCV. And so did my brother, neighbor, and my neighbor's co-worker. 4 rooms for April. It can be done.

We booked a few weeks ago when the military offer came out for May 1 and got a dedicated 2 BR! I almost fell on the floor--there were no 2 BRs available at BWV, where we own.

We had our April trip set for AKV and switched right at the 7 mo mark without a problem. I thought it might be tougher since it was our spring break, and going into Easter.

I guess everyone else has been luckier there than I have. It's one of our home resorts, and at 11 months we haven't had any trouble. However, at 7 months last year, I tried to add a day, had to go on the waitlist, and it didn't come thru until 9 days before the night I wanted. A couple times, when Southwest has made me an offer I couldn't refuse at 3-4 months out, I've never been able to get a studio and the waitlist has never come through. So I'm really glad we own there. For us, it's been 11 months or forget it.

I reserved a 1-BR, for 6 nights (7/26 - 8/1), at BCV at the 7 month window. Due to a change in plans and balancing banked points from 2 separate member IDs, I had to cancel the existing reservation, and re-book at the 6 month window for 7 nights (7/25 - 8/1). I had no problems, and MS even commented that there was good availability.

I've been very lucky at getting reservations anywhere I wanted at the 7 month window. The first year we joined, I got reservations in a 1-BR at BWV 4 months out!
