BCV-What view do you prefer?

Staying at the BCV's (1bdr) in October! I am having second thoughts on my view request! I have requested a pool/quiet view, but some say I would end up with a parking lot view? Will my kids (twins, age 9) miss seeing the fireworks, but is there road noise on that side??? Also, I know we will be spending a lot of time a SAB pool, is it a long walk from one end or the other? Dh and I would also like to spend some quiet time on the balcony with a cocktail or two! It's our 20th wedding anniversary!! THANKS!!

We had a pool view last July and it was excellent. We didn't even know about the Epcot views then. We could see the parking lot, but it is a long way off. The pool is very nice, plus you see the outline of the lights on the top of the building. It's very bright at the Villas at night around the pool. You also can see the canal and you might get a glimpse of the gator.

We're staying at the BCV in September - also a 1 bedroom. I was afraid to request a view. I couldn't make up my mind about which would be better! I'll just take my chances.
