BCV Waitlist Came Thru!

Had my doubts but, got the call my res. for Columbus Day week came thru @ BCV studio. Had 4 nights booked day-by-day since 7 month mark.

Needed one night & it came thru CM said they "usually do - have faith".

Cancelled same 5 nights @ WL, if you're waiting hope it's yours.

Have fun on your trips. We'll be at OKW Columbus week, didn't have enough points to stay at my beloved BWV this time.

Great news for you! I hope that somehow that helps my waitlist at BWV. I still need the 8th and 12th. Unfortunately my other days are split between standard and preferred, so I'm not sure how that will all work out - still waiting for that as well. I am kicking myself for not just going ahead and booking the studio for my sister (or any other potential guest) when I booked my own room.

Hope everyone gets what they're waitlisted for . I really didn't think BC would come thru in Oct. since it's a minor holiday period.

We're relatively new to DVC & still find it strange to remember to plan/book accommodations 11 months ahead of time.

DH has contract coming due next June & I can't in good conscience book a trip if I know he'll be on strike. Unfortunately, I find my UY coming into play & I'd need to bank the points prior to when the contract would be settled @ the earliest.

If a strike is avoided, I wonder if we'd be able to get a studio (anywhere) last minute the end of June or July/early August? Guess we'll have to wait & see.

Congrats! We have a studio at BCV waitlisted for Saturday, Oct. 21st. We have 1 BR at BCV from Oct. 22-27. Just want to save those precious points on a weekend especially since we won't get there until late afternoon.
