BCV vs WL

It's time for our annual trip and I was wondering how DVC'ers feel about BCV vs. WL. We are OKW member and love the size, but I want to try one of the new resorts. We've stayed at BWV and liked that even though it's a little smaller and noisier.
Any comments on preferences?

but we have not yet had a chance to try BCV. It probably depends more on what you are looking for. Lots of access, or lots of pooltime, I would probably stay at BCV for the location. If you're looking for a soothing, relaxing stay, then VWL is absolutely *wonderful*.

I've had a studio at both locations. We were at the BCV in late March and with SAB it seemed very busy to me. But we did like the closeness to EPCOT and BW. We were at the VWl in late July and it was very quiet and even though it was at 100% capacity.

VWL and BCV both have their own wonderful attributes. Studios in either will be the same size as at BWV.

We like to stay at BCV for our "summer" visits. If the weather is going to be hot and we will want to spend a lot of time at the pool then BCV has been our choice for the past two years. SAB is amazing for the kids. The walk/boats to Epcot and the Studios are hard to beat for access.

We like to stay at VWL for our "holiday" visits. When the weather turns colder and swimming is not a focus, we love to experience the laid back atmosphere and incredible theming of the VWL. The quiet pool by the VWL is one of the most relaxing places in all of WDW and there is a wonderful kiddie pool at the main pool complex. The boat to the MK is a great feature.

Seeing as BCV and VWL both have stand alone buildings (as opposed to the BWV which is more incorporated into the overall BW resort) they tend to be on the quiet side. Both BCV and VWL have wonderful areas to sit and relax.

If I could only choose one? I guess I'd have to go with VWL. But why choose one? We have taken to splitting stays on our past four trips. If you don't want to split a trip there is always next year, so either way you can't go wrong.

This will just come down to personal preference. There are strong advocates here for both resorts. My preference is VWL, as I just love the theme, and theming. Of course, someone else may put more emphasis on SAB.
You really can't go wrong with either.

I've stayed at all 3, OKW, VWL, and BCV. And since I have no interest in SAB, I can compare without that. As DH noticed, the colors at BCV are much more similar to OKW than VWL. It has that kind of beachy feeling that OKW has. I'll admit I'm a BCV fan, but I 'll try to be objective-I think you'd prefer BCV if you like the theme of OKW.
