We are looking to take our three boys (6 - 10) to Disney for their first trip. Looking at either BCV or WL. Are either more convenient to the parks? We are looking for the shortest trip in. Are the pools heated in early November?

BCV is walking distance to Epcot and MGM and has the best pool (SAB) in the parks, considering your children's ages You have to take a boat from WL to get to the magic kingdom and then bus or monorail to get to the others. Don't know about the pools but I'm sure they are heated.
Both resorts are set up exactly the same in the rooms except for the decor.
Thanks very much. Do you know if there is shuttle service from Orlando Airport to the resort? I had heard they started a free shuttle, but have only seen the ones that charge.
I second the vote for BCV. The kids will absolutely love SAB.
There is a free shuttle called Disney Magical Express. You will need to make arrangements before you leave. Have a great time!

Yes it is called the magical express. When you make your room reservations through Disney, give them your air connections and request it. They will send you special stickers that go on the handles of all your luggage and it is automatically taken directly to your room from the airport. However, take a carry on with a change of clothes / bathing suits for the kids because you will get to your room a few hours before your luggage. Trip saves about $30 each way. You don't want to miss time in Storm Along Bay waiting for luggage.
