BCV vs. VWL

We are having trouble deciding where to stay in September. We know what to expect at VWL since we have stayed there a few times before. It's our favorite resort and home resort.

We have never stayed at the Beach Club before and we have some concerns. The first is the bus service there. We stayed at the Boardwalk years ago and were very frustrated with the bus service to/from the MK. We always have a vehicle and will drive elsewhere. Being that we have young kids we still spend more time at the MK than any other park. Has the bus service improved? Our other concern is the current refurb at the Beach Club. We are just wondering how much of a distraction the refurb will be. This is our 1st September trip and our biggest draw to BCV is Stormalong Bay.

I don't think the bus service to MK is too bad. Most or all of the time now it's YC/BC that are sharing unlike times in the past where it was often BWV/Swan/Dolphin/YC/BC (what were they thinking?!?!?)

I also wouldn't worry too much about the refurb. VWL only took 1 month and I wouldn't be surprised if BCV is all done by Sept.

If you are talking about the last week in september, you better be ready to book at the day of the 7 month window if you want BCV. that is the first week of F&W.

Thanks for the responses. Glad to hear that they improved the bus situation. Yesterday I switched our ressies from VWL to BCV. We check in on Sept. 8th.
