Just wondering which resort we should choose to rent. we are a family of 5 with children 6,8,9 who enjoy swimming.

The BCV does have SAB for the swimmers. The BWV has a nice pool too and it will be a lot easier to keep an eye on the kids while they are using it. BWV also has Community Hall which kids love.

Totally agree that BWV is much easier to keep an eye on the kids. We love the BC pool but its so hard to watch multiple children and having to walk so far with them to get to the steps that go up to the slide - you have to leave the pool area and walk across the main walking loop around the lake and then walk back to where the exit the slide--unless your going to slide down it also this gets old pretty fast!

I was just discussing resorts with my kids (11 & 14) and they both had no reservations in saying they'd love to return to the BWV over BC. We were there last when they were 8 & 11. We have never stayed at BC, but they are aware of SAB & said it looks cool ... but they prefer TL. :rotfl:

Thanks-I was leaning towards bcv, but now I think bwv would be better. Thanks for the details on the slides. Can you walk to both Epco and the Studios from BWV?

yes you can walk to both Epcot and HS from BWV and BC. :thumbsup2 I think I'd lean towards BWV for your situation because the pool in general is easier to watch multiple kids and the slide is set up in such a way that you can park yourself close to the steps and watch them go up and see them dump out a few minutes later from that same spot........can't do that w/ SAB!

The BWV is mid-way between Epcot and the Studios and very convenient to both. Also, if you want a 'down' night try out the Disney movies that are shown on the beach at the BC - they are open to everyone and quite relaxing for young kids. We brought our own popcorn and drinks (no glass containers) and watched the movies in lounge chairs that are provided.

If you are planning on a 2BR villa, one thing you might like about BCV is that they have Dedicated 2BR villas so if you are concerned about any of your children "wandering" out the second bedroom door in a lock-off, you would want a Dedicated 2BR. BWV doesn't have any Dedicated 2BR villas.
