I will be staying at BCV for the first time 10/27 thru 11/4, some nights in a studio and some nights in a 1 BDR. I was wondering what the different views that are available for request and also what everyone's favorite view is and why? I know this is a crazy time at BCV because of the Food & Wine Festival so I was also wondering what my chances are of getting each of the different views.

Thanks in advance for sharing.

Your chances of getting any view is completely dependent on who is checking out the day you are checking in, especially during Food & Wine Fest when BCV is most likely 100% full each and every day.

You can request a certain view, but being that it isn't guaranteed, you get whatever opens up for your room category.

I think the official views that are available are Woods, Pool and Courtyard.

IMHO, there is no bad view at the BCV.

Unfortunately, MS always tells me that "Woods" is not an official view category. Yet, that's my favorite view! I even tried requesting "Overlooking trees", but MS wouldn't accept that either. So I don't know how to get a woods view again (first time was pure luck). Next time I've tried for "quiet area" because I heard that some people have gotten woods views when they said that. Let's hope! Anyone have any suggestions on how to get woods or been successful requesting it as a view?

It is tough because what MS calls the different room views is not the same thing that the front desk calls the room views!

The front desk does call the room view that faces EPCOT "the EPCOT view" but MS will tell you there is no such thing. The same thing happens with the Woods view. Front desk calls that view "the woods view".

The catagories of views are listed on the Front desk map that the CM's use and they are listed as : Woods, Quiet Pool, EPCOT and Beach Club.

Try your best with MS but if there is really something you are looking for tell the front desk when you check in and they can try to find it for you.

I really wish MS & the BCV front desk were on the same page for these most requested items.

I spoke to MS today and they said they no longer take requests for Epcot views. That I could only request Pool, Woods, or Courtyard. Epcot view is what I really would like but if I can't have that, then I don't care if I get pool, woods, or courtyard view.

So I guess I'll wait until check-in and see if I can request an Epcot view at that time and see what happens.

We checked in early in the morning and room 425 was ready, it was handicapped which wasn't that big of a deal, at night we sat out on our balcony and had a perfect view of epcot fireworks. Our kids loved sitting on dad's lap wrapped in a blanket watching them.... beats the crowds after a long day in the parks :goodvibes.

Sounds nice, I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

The Epcot view got requested so much, I am sure they had to not let it be an official request, no matter what story they told about construction.

If you go in with a realistic attitude that you may or may not get an "Epcot view", then you will be fine.

We just returned and had requested a non smoking upper floor. The CM checking us in was great. She gave us a woods view-3rd floor (375) and we watched Wishes fireworks from our balcony.
