This was our first trip home to BCV. The participants were myself, DH, 14 yr old DS, 13 yr old DD, hubby's brother and his wife. We were there from Saturday Sept. 28th to Saturday Oct. 5th.
We arrived at 9:30 PM Saturday evening via Tiffany Town Car's van after a brief stop at Publix. Bell services was wonderful about loading up the luggage and a separate cart for all the groceries. We checked into our 2 bedroom lock-off (420 = 1 bedroom and 422 = studio).
I had made our reservation early the first morning they took reservations but was worried about getting our requests filled due to the late checkin. I had nothing to worry about. These rooms were at a perfect location - right around the corner from the elevators, non-smoking, close to the Epcot walkway and the pool, and had a beautiful view of Illuminations fireworks. There were a couple trees in the way but they didn't bother us and the extra large master bedroom balcony in 420 was wonderful for 4 or 6 of us to enjoy the show comfortably.
The weather was perfect for the entire week. We had massive doses of pixie dust and CMs who all know how to keep the magic alive. The parks were perfect - enough people around to feel like part of the crowd but all the rides were practically walk-ons.
We had no problems with the A/C keeping things cool. The shower heads are definitely low flow - I suggest keeping a large plastic cup in the shower for rinsing shampoo out of hair.
For the first time, the four adults enjoyed 50 minute massages at the Ship Shape Health Club - there's a 10% DVC discount Sunday thru Wednesday. All I can say is WOW! I've never been so relaxed. After an hour or two of relaxation the 4 of us went to Le Cellier in the Canada pavilion at Epcot for a leisurely dinner while the kids were allowed to spend some time at Epcot and then head back to SAB and borrow a free DVD movie (another DVC perk) from the gift shop.
I'll be happy to take questions.
I wish all of you the peace, relaxation and joy we found last week at BCV!
