BCV Trip Report.
Just back from a week at the BCV! Everything was wonderful! I have always been treated great at Disney and am very happy to have become a member for two years. Stayed at the BCV and had the coveted Epcot and Fireworks view. Great view to see the ball all lit up at night. Sorry to say that it took our two year old till the last day to actually want to see them. The rest of the time we were out of the room or holding her because she was scared of the boom-booms. The room was in great shape being only four or five months old. In my opinion they are smaller then the BWV or WLV, most of the lost space is in closets.
I do want to warn the rest of you of what I consider a real problem with my room and ones in the same location. We stayed in room 552. It was a dedicated two bedroom unit. The problem was the trash collection at between 5am and 6:30am every morning. It took over an hour and you could hear the truck pick-up a dumpster, dump the trash, and drop the dumpster, back-up beeping, and start the process all over again. Our bedroom was on the corner it all came through loud and clear every morning. Also the traffic noise was unacceptable unless you like living on a busy roadway. Finally, there is this generator type thing below the room that started up three or four times when we noticed it and kicked blue smoke and diesel fumes up the side of the building. It usually ran for a couple of hours each time and was overly loud.
Enough of the complaining. The quiet pool was great, Storm along bay was great. The resort was great. Saw the alligator, turtles and fish under the resort. Even met Vince Neil the 80s rocker from Motley Crew who was staying at the hotel.
Great trip and are deciding when to go again!
