From March 13-18, stayed in a BCV dedicated 2-bedroom, room 242. This was our first stay at BCV, staying at OKW and BWV for our previous visits. This room overlooks the mysterious circular walkway as well as the road. Road noise was noticeable, but didn’t bother our sleeping. We checked in at 1:30pm, room wasn’t ready, so we went to Downtown Disney. Ate at the Earl of Sandwich, very good with decent prices. Called BCV at 3 pm and the room was ready. The condition of the room was pretty good, except for the dining table which had several big scrapes on top, down to the bare wood in about 5-6 places. The rest of the villa had wear marks here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary. All kitchen utensils/cookware items were there, except no spatula. We swear, from several trips to OKW, that a spatula was suppose to be there. Wife called housekeeping to get a spatula (pancakes were in order for that morning). A non-english (we think) speaking man came to our room with a plastic mixing spoon. Wife says to him “This is a spatula?”, he says “Yes”, turns around and walks away. We make eggs and bacon instead. :rolleyes2 We missed the big kitchen at OKW.
Went to go visit Mouse Surplus, got the directions off of Miceage (or Mouseplanet, can’t remember). What a cool place! Highly recommended for the Disney geek, and the person who likes to hunt at flea markets/antique stores. For those not in the know, Mouse Surplus resells used WDW and Disneyland items: show props, hotel furnishings, production equipment, souvenirs, etc. We picked up neat curtains used at Port Orleans, for $21. Also got a spatula for $1, Disney used, no less. Wife now wants to drive our truck down for our September trip. They sell this stuff on Ebay, but will cut you a deal if you shop in person.
We only went to one park this week, MK on Thursday (3/17). Of course, that’s the day it decided to rain, all day. We donned our ponchos and headed out, since we had a PS for Cindy’s breakfast. We were all very pleased with the breakfast. The food was excellent, and plenty of it. Our server was fantastic, he was also a fellow Hoosier, no less. Our daughters had a good time with all of the princesses. On account of the all-day rain (we think), the crowd at MK was very light that day. We walked on all of the attractions, with only a 15 minute wait for the Peter Pan ride. That made up for the ugly weather.
The other days we were there, we shopped (outlet malls!), swam at SAB, got a Kitchen Sink at B&C (yum!), toured some of the other resorts (AKL, WL, SSR), played mini-golf (Blizzard Beach), and visited family in the area. We encountered friendly cast members everywhere we went (except for that spatula guy).

Thanks for the report! I would have a hard time only going to the parks one day! ...but we are still newbie's to WDW.

OK, now for my question... Did your dedicated 2 bedroom have 2 queens or a queen and a pull out sofa? I'm on a quest to idenify all the 2 queen room and I didn't have 242 yet!

Room 242 has one queen and a pull-out. Yeah, it's hard to only do one park while there all week. With our family of five, admission is hard on the wallet.
But we know we'll be back again, and there's so much else to do while there!

What kinds of things can you get here. Is it very differenent from the outlets everyone talks about?

We have never been to anything, so any info you could share would be appreciated.

Have a great day!

Here's the directions to Mouse Surplus:

Take Interstate-4 East (well, this part of the freeway heads north, but you know what I mean). Just past Sea World, take 528 (a.k.a. BeeLine Expressway) East. Get off at Orange Blossom Trail, commonly called OBT - this is the last off ramp before you’d have to pay a toll. Confusingly, this stretch of OBT is also called 17/92, a reference to two rural roadways that unite for several miles. The off-ramp will wind through an office park; keep following the road until the stoplight, which is OBT itself. Turn left. Soon you will turn right onto Landstreet Road. Follow this for a couple of miles, and turn left at Orange Avenue (which is a stoplight right after you cross some train tracks). A half mile down you will see a RaceTrac gas station on the left; the street you want (called Pine Ave) is directly opposite this station, on the right hand side. Turn right onto Pine Ave and follow it to the end. Just before you reach the railroad tracks you will find 1475 Pine Avenue on your left. The driveway leads through a sliding metal gate, which will be open if it’s during business hours. Drive through to the end, and park anywhere. The warehouse should have its door propped open to the front office.

It's totally different from the Disney outlet stores. You can go to mousesurplus.com and take a look at their Ebay sales. They sell anything and everything used/left over/unsold from Disney.
