BCV to International Gateway....

I know there is a quick way from DVC to the IG, but can't figure it out.....

Can someone show me on a map... or explain very slowly for the directionally challenged...

I know how to go to the Sandcastle Club, where is it from there....

Cause I've been going all the way to the main lobby, to get my bearings....

Off to BCV July 16 - 23rd! 1st vacation for Hubby and me alone in 4 years since we adopted our DD-7 (Going to Grandma's and Pop Pop's in PA).

If you are on the walkway that is going from the BCV to BC, instead of going to the BC, midway there, turn left and walk on the sidewalk between the two buildings. You will then continue to follow the outline of the BC building by turning right, left, right. This path leads you right by the first floor patios of the BC, and exits on the walk way that goes around Cresent lake. Turn left on the walkway, up and over the canal/road and you're at the IG.

Hope that wasn't too confusing! I know someone posted a great pic of this not too long ago.

I also think one of CaskBill's posts is slightly incorrect in that thread. The bypass entrance is almost directly across from that gated entrance that takes you alongside the BC, if I remember correctly.

Print out the picture in Post #27 (the picture with the red line). Mom brought it with her and followed it every day! She made it too!

Inspired by Caskbill and his wonderful work with GPS at WDW...

I pulled up a more recent satellite map of the epcot resort area and did a measurement as well. This is if you take the path from the center lobby in the BCV to the ticket gate in IG via the path the runs along the back of the beach club inn buildings:

So it looks like 3/10 of a mile. Caskbill's previous pic underestimated how far back from the path the new BCV buildings really are.

That is a great picture, thank you. Looks like it's not that far out of the way to go to the BC quiet pool and through the building as well. The walk so close to people's patio's isn't always the most comfortable for us. The restroom at the BC quiet pool also came in handy one time.

Hello, friend!

We just returned from there, and I can't really explain how to do it leaving hte BCV, but an easy way to figure it out is on your way back from International Gateway to the BCV.

On your walk back to the BCV from IG, watch the black fence for a gate. It's not really that obvious, so you need to watch for it. It will be before the main entrance to BCV. Enter through it and follow the walkway, it will show you the way!
