Hi. We'll be at BCVs for our First Trip Home, starting Sunday.

We requested a non-smoking Studio, but left it at that. I kind of like the "take what you get" approach as trying to pick and choose too much in terms of location (for a place we've never even seen!) seemed counter-productive.

But, I think I read recently that the dedicated studios have a daybed in addition to the sleeper? Are they generally bigger? Would we appreciate the difference?

It's me, DH, DD(6) and DD (3 1/2).

I know there are no guarantees we would get what we ask for a check-in, but is it worth asking for a dedicated studio, or not really.

Thanks, DVCers--your experience is appreciated!

There are no studios at BCV that have a day bed in them, there are very small benches (not a day bed) in the dedicated units at BWV though. Personally, I don't feel that the dedicated units at BCV are any smaller or larger than the non-dedicated units. We were in a dedicated studio during our stay and then toured the model downstairs, which was a non-dedicated unit. They seemed to be the same size, and the non-dedicated had a slightly bigger entrance, but the rest of the room was the same size.
