My wife and I are going to be staying at Beach Club Villas the week of Labor Day. Actually, we have a split stay of 3 nights at BCV and 2 nights at AKL-Jambo. We are going to the DVC Safari Spectacular on Tuesday.

This will be our first trip to Beach Club Villas..........we would appreciate any advice or suggestions for Studio locations. We don't mind being on upper floors. The one thing we would like to request is being close to the elevators for medical reasons. Nerve damage after surgeries have left me not being able to walk as well as I used to prior to surgeries. So, coming back in the evening after fireworks and going down a long hallway can become a challenge........

Any suggestions or recommendations would be,appreciated!

I always ask for a villa on an upper floor near elevators. Have never not gotten that. Lately I've asked for pool view too and have gotten it.

We stay at BC every year now. It's my favorite resort. Personally I prefer upper floor, Epcot or Woods View. There's more privacy/solitude when your out on your balcony. Plus you can watch Illuminations fireworks. Below is a link to BC room map (Once you click,Visit Page). it includes elevator locations. If I was you first choice would be 531, 527, 525, 539, 543, 549. Even though map shows that as woods view, it's actually pointing towards world showcase so better for fireworks.

Close to elevator may not give you a short walk at BCV as there are 2 sets. One is closer to the parking lot end and the other is by the BCV lobby although BCV is not a large resort so nothing is too bad.

Close to elevator, pool view.

:earsboy: Bill

We have our favourite room that we prefer that happens to be beside the elevator. with a pool view as mentioned by Bill. Does anyone else hear the elevator noise or is it just us? It is as much a vibration as it is noise. It is the elevator closest to the canal.

431 is a woods view with a very large balcony. Close to main elevator and laundry on that floor too.

If you enjoy people watching, 305/405 are enjoyable, but no view of the fireworks. The one I love for fireworks is #422, and it's right around the corner from the elevators. Just be aware that the balcony is very small.

Nothing at BCV is going to be a short walk from either Epcot, the boat dock or the bus stop if you have difficulty walking. Unless you plan on using a scooter.

Wow......great info! It sounds like we need to get higher up with a woods/Epcot view. , i,was afraid that everything was going to be a walk........we got caught at AKL at the farthest point and I had an issue. Actually, I had the issue in Epcot and and I learned from the mistake. We live in Atlanta and we drove 9 hours and went to Epcot after checking into AKL to eat at La Hacienda. Walking back, I had an episode. I walked about 300 feet at a time. Basically, yo the next park bench. My wife went up front for a wheelchair and they were sold out. Made it to the car and then I had to walk to the room.

From then on ......I ask for rooms close yo elevators, bus stops or parking lots. It sounds like I need to be aware on this trip.

Please rent a wheelchair, as they have said, NOTHING at BCV will be close to the bus, boats or EPCOT international gateway...everything is a walk, even if you are next to the elevator, once you get to the main floor, walk, walk and walk some more... Enjoy your visit, but plan ahead, even the main pool SAB is a long walk from the Villas.
