My kids do not sleep well together so we are bringing an air mattress with us next week. I am assuming that I need to bring my own sheets....what about a blanket and pillow? Can I get those from the Beach Club or do I need to bring them?

Thanks!
Jen

(you might want to ask on the DVC board also if you don't get clarification here.)

i believe you get 4 pillows, but they only provide sheets for the queen bed and the pullout sofa. you'd be on your own for the air mattress. i could be mistaken, though.

I am at BCV in a studio now.
There is 5 pillows, 2 blankets and 2 sets of sheets in the room.
The maid carts are out front everyday and I have asked them for extra stuff, no problem.
As long as you are in the 4 people max guide line I don't think it will be a problem. It will be a tight squeeze to put down an air mattress with the sofa pulled out.

This is my first stay here and it is great.

Wow - thanks for the info. I am so jealous that you are there right now. We will bring sheets and a blanket then, and just use the extra pillow in the room. Hopefully the mattress will fit with the bed pulled out. I do not think my kids would get a good night sleep if they were in the same bed. How's the weather there?

You can call Housekeeping and they will bring you extra sheets and blankets. We had a standard room at the Beach Club last October and there was a padded bench in the room. We called Mousekeeping brought sheets, pillows and blankets.

Dont know if your resort is different (but I dont know why it would be) - our last visit I brought an air mattress with us to ASMO because my kids wont sleep together either and asked Mousekeeping for bedding.....there was no problem. They gave us sheets, blanket and pillow. They even made it up every morning.

Sorry, DVC is different from other Disney resorts. They will not provide extra bedding and towels just for asking. You can get extra towels if you pay for them. But no extra sheets. Housekeeping is paid out of member dues and not by Disney. In order to keep the dues down, members agree that these extras need to be paid for by the member.

We just got back fromBCV. We called when we arrived and asked for extra blankets and pillows. We brought our own sheets. It was easy.
