BCV Solarium Usage

Anyone used or thought about using the Solarium area of the BCV for a small get together? Since we staying in a studio, and space is limited, I am thinking about having a few people meet for some birthday cake and a drink. I have noticed there is a serving type area along the one wall.

Not sure if it is permissable to do this or not, anyone checked into doing something like this already?

When we stayed at the BCVs last Thanksgiving, one family had reserved the Drawing Room for a Private Dinner, so there must be something in place to do this. I'd check with MS.
