BCV Rooms

We stayed there last in Sept 2010. Went to check out reviews on All Ears and noticed several reports of wear and tear. We will be in a 1B this Sept. Hoping to hear room reports from fellow DVCers. Has anyone been there recently? How are the room conditions?

We were just there last month and I think the rooms are fine. I am not one to look over everything very closely but I only noticed one thing that was worn. Our mini fridge in the studio was chipped on the door and had several dents. It worked fine so I didn't care. I still love staying at the BCV and will be back there in October!

We were there in April and everything in our unit and the resort was fine.

I was there in December and our room was badly worn. Several pieces of furniture were broke, large stains on the couch and carpet.

we stayed in a studio at BLt in sept, 2011. eventhough it isn't our favorite resort for other reasons, we didn't see any wear or tear.

I was expecting to, from threads here on the dis, but I thought the room was very well kept up.

I was there in March in a 1 BR. My room was fine. Rugs in the hallways could use updating but no issues with the room.

Stayed at BCV two weeks ago in a 2br. Nothing wrong, was just fine.

Does seem that way. What bothered me more than the condition of the room was when I reported it to the on duty manager his reply was, It "is" DVC what did you expect?

Yikes. His comment is one that I definitely would want to pass on to DVC member services.

oops, BCV. stayed there in july, 2010, and didn't notice anything bad there, either. loved our room.

We were there in April. First in a studio and than a two bedroom. The studio was extemely worn, broken furniture, stains. The two bedroom was fine.

We will be staying there for the first time in a 1BR the first week of Oct. I've also read about the wear and tear and hope for the best. I'm not one to go over the place with a fine-tooth comb so I'm optimistic.
