Our first on-site vacation at WDW is coming up in just over a month!! We (me, hubby, sons (4 &1) and my parents) are staying in a dedicated 2 bdr at BCV. So I knew (from spending enough time here on the DIS) that requesting a specific room number is not a good idea when making a reservation. My only requests were to not be on first floor, non-handicapped, and non-smoking. But if we are given a choice at check-in ("you are in this room here, or we also have this room available" - which I have read has happened to people), I won't know which one is better. So... if you have stayed in a dedicated 2bdr at BCV and loved your room (whether it be because of the condition of the room, view, location to elevators, etc., please give me the room number and what you loved so much about it. That way, if given a choice, I will be an informed DISer and be able to pick a great one! Thanks so much! :sunny:

We stayed in room 268 and loved it. It had a huge balcony that could be accessed from all 3 rooms and a lovely view of the quiet pool. It was located near to the canal so each morning I could sit out on the balcony and see the crocodile and sea turtles swimming around.

We've stayed in 2 different 2BRs but I don't remember the number. First was on the 3rd floor, Epcot view of SSE. It was a nice view, but not spectacular. The other was a 2BR 1st floor, quiet pool view. At first I wasn't thrilled about being on the first floor, but I really liked it! It was great to walk out to the pool, and it was indeed quiet, so no problem there. Wish I could remember the number, as it was in the bend of the building, so the extra bedroom was a little wider.

We were in 2BR 353 and loved it- there is no one on either side of the *53 rooms and we didn't hear a sound. Nice views of Epcot and fireworks. 453 or 553 would have been better. We were in studio 269 and found the road noise annoying so I wouldn't want a low floor on that end of the building. Go up (or down) a few links and check out the fabulous BCV map- I printed all 5 floors out for reference.

We had the best view of Spaceship Earth and Illuminations. The road view wasn't the best but I didn't look down too much! :earboy2:

Print out the resort room layouts that you find at this link...

Then if they ask about a specific room, you'll know exactly where it is and what the view will be.

All credit for the work and the maps goes to DisZip, who put it all together and posted it for us to use! :worship:
