BCV retrofit Has anyone been to the BCV lately

This was only a soft goods refurbishment. The things you mentioned were not refurbished. We stayed in one a couple of weeks ago. New Murphy bed, new Keurig, new drapes, carpet, reupholstered chairs and a new queen bed and frame. Nightstand, undrt tv bedtable, bathrooms, kitchens were not refurbed.

Seeing how the murphy beds are brand new and the outlet didn't work think that's a problem... told they couldn't fix

I’m not familiar with the BCV layout are there 1 bedroom villas on the 4th and 5th floors. We are traveling late September and I would like to request a room with a murphy bed since we will have 2 kids sharing that bed.

Yes, there are 1 and 2 BR units on the 4th/5th floors that have been refurbed, including a Murphy bed. By late September, it's possible that there could be more floors done, but that's not a given. You can put in a request with your reservation for a top floor, but it won't be guaranteed. In fact, I'm sure lots of people are requesting them. If you don't get a room with a Murphy, it'll be the queen pullout. I'd recommend when you check in - stop by the front desk and see where they have you. If it's not a refurbed room, ask if they can make a late change. Sometimes they can, sometimes they can't. But it never hurts to ask at WDW!

Thank you for the info, I will just do a generic floor request when I put it in.

The last time we stayed at BC we were on the cash side in 2019. We are looking forward to getting back there and spending some time at SAB.
