Okay, now I'm a bit concerned. I am renting at Kidani in Sept and requested a dedicated 2 bd from the owner. When I received my confirmation, it didn't state dedicated on it. So, I called the owner and he doubled checked with MS and they assured him that it was a dedicated in their system. I do trust this owner as we have rented from him often. Should I still be concerned that we don't really have a dedicated? Is this just a request?

It's not a request. It's a booking category.

Unless something unexpected happens (like a room mtce error), you will be assigned a dedicated villa.

We are checking into a dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV this Sunday. I just checked my reservation and it still shows a dedicated 2 bedroom. Sorry for your luck on this. Thanks for posting though as now I have a printed copy of my ressie.

You don't state whether you have reserved a dedicated 2BR with 2 queens or just a standard dedicated 2BR. Not all dedicated 2BR units have 2 queens, there are 78 dedicated 2BR units, but only 25 have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom.
The 2 queen option is something that should to be requested when the reservation is made, because they generally book up fast and it will be guaranteed if available and noted on the reservation.
All 2BR units, lock-off, dedicated and dedicated w/2 queens are the same number of points.
