Only because someone had reported here about having new, different carpet on their floor and I thought I was being nice by asking about the plans. Except for the carpet (and that was only because someone said they had new carpet in the halls), no, I didn't expect the rehab to have started. Just thought that maybe the CMs might know about it.

I just stayed at BCV this past weekend. Unfortunately I didn't make it up to the 5th floor to see the new carpet (we were on 4th). But I did see the ugly stuff on the 1st floor. That carpet pattern might work at BLT, but it looked terrible at BCV.

Are they planning to remove the oversized furniture (chairs/table) in the studios and replace it?

It just doesn't fit into the size of the room.

I think it means furniture. They are replacing the tv dresser and putting in a murphy bed.

Does anyone know if they are taking the table and chairs out and replacing them with the drop-down table like in VWL?

The BCV refurb was announced at the DVC annual meeting. See DVC News.

If this is what they will be turning BCV into, I will be really disappointed. This doesn't look like the beach in my mind.
