BCV Question

I was wondering how far out you needed to book to insure getting a reservation at BCV's. I plan on a June, July, August, or September, 2010 vacation. I will be renting points. This will be my third time renting points and have had great success with it. Also, is there a laundry room at BCV's? Thanks in advance.

To guarantee availability, book at 11 months. All DVC resorts have laundry rooms.

We already booked July 4th last month. It is the smallest resort so it goes fast.

Eleven months out is the norm for many DVC members for any resort, any type villa. It's a must for holidays and specific type villas (GV, conciege, etc).

"insure" is a strong word. But as long as you book more than 7-months out, there is a very good chance there will be availability at BCV. In order to book more than 7-months out, you need to rent points from a BCV owner.

If you don't rent from a BCV owner, you will need to be ready right at the 7-month mark. I've always been able to book BCV at 9:00 AM on my 7-month mark. But have been shut out if booking even a few days later. While the 7-months-to-the-day odds aren't as good as booking more than 7-months out, I still think they are pretty good, especially if you have some flexibility. And late August/September are very likly to be available 7 months out.
