Trying to choose a resort is driving me CRAZY! I originally decided that I liked BCV the best so that is where we are booked as of right now. This was for a lot of reasons
pool (obviously), access to lots of activities and restaurants, plus we like the beachy atmosphere. Our daughter will be 22 months at the time of travel (May 2008) so we are planning to spend the majority of our time at the resort vs. the parks. We like nice facilities and amenities and are looking for a nice, relaxing vacation. We are scheduled to do MK one day but I am not even sure about that! And I dont know that Epcot would be that interesting to her at this age. Well, then I started looking at the Poly and it is beautiful and right on the monorail. But if we are only going to MK for one day - - is the monorail really that important?? Is there as much to do there as at BCV? Could we dine at the Contemp. or GF by taking the monorail from the Poly as easily as if we went to Yacht Club or Boardwalk from BC? The Poly will only end up being around $130 more than the BCV over a 4 night stay so the price isnt really a deciding factor. Now I am throwing AKV in the mix. The only thing I need to know about AKV is
is it on a lake (like BC and Poly). We love the beach and want to rent a boat so AKV would be out for us if that isnt possible there. Please someone help!! By the way, we live in Florida and this is not a once in a lifetime trip for us. We have been to WDW many times just never stayed onsite. And I am sure we will be back plenty more times as our daughter gets older. I have learned so much from these boards and I appreciate any responses I receive!
