We can't decide.. please help!!! Its me, DH, DD 13, DS 5 and DD 4.
Please help your input is greatly appreciated!

When are you going? BCV has Stormalong Bay, if your kids like to swim. BWV is on the boardwalk, so you're a little closer to stuff going on over there. As far as walking distance, BCV is closer to Epcot; BWV is closer to MGM. Both resorts are in the same general location so you can't go wrong with either!

I'd say BWV, but maybe I'm partial because that's our DVC "home" resort :) The "Keister Coaster" slide at the BWV "Luna Park" pool is great! I went down it myself, and it was a very long and fun slide. All the kids at the pool seemed to greatly enjoy that slide! Also, I love the location of the BWV, the decor, etc. My DH, on the other hand, prefers the BCV because of Stormalong Bay. To each his own I guess :) You'll have a great time at either hotel I'm sure!!

I am a DVC owner at both of these resorts and it really depends on what you like. Do the kids like swimming? SAB is the best. It is like a mini water park. Do you like night life? The BWV's have a lot to do. BWV's also have a place called the Community Hall which is located at the quiet pool that has tons of things for kids (and grown ups) to enjoy. From video games and table top games (ping pong, hockey, etc..) to craft activities for little ones like your 4 and 5 year olds. It is one of the resons we love the BWV's.

OK, let's give BCV equal time-that's my home resort. If you want to relax and "unwind", BCV is more the place for you. But like someone else said, it's really about what you want. If you like nightlife, BWV is definitely superior. Even though I don't even swim, my idea of nightlife ends at the end of Illuminations. Guess that's why I prefer BCV.

hmmm... we're going in August (4-10). I had a 2br at the BCV booked and then starting second guessing myself after reading the posts concerning the walk from the villas to SAB. I changed to a 2br at the BWV's, had "buyers regret", called back to change to BCV's and it was gone! In a matter of minutes, GONE! Amazing!
So.... I guess my mind is made up. I guess the best answer is to go ahead with the BWV and then next time try BCV!!
We're going to "that other place" (shhhhh) the Aug 1-3 and wanted to find somewhere relaxing to stretch out in.
Thanks for all your help and input!
Does anyone but me "over think" accomodations?

Tinky,
What is "that other place" you're referring to? If it's Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure, we always go there too when we vacation...it's a must for us!

It's an even longer walk from BWV to SAB....and they won't let you in once you get there.
