I can not decide where to stay for my daughter's 16th birthday. She is bringing 2 friends with her that have not been to WDW before. We are DVC owners but I can not decide if we should stay at Boardwalk or the new Beach Club. HELP ME decide. I want it convenient for the main pools, for the walkways to the two parks and for getting around in general. The only thing about the BCV is they are in the back of the main building, can anyone tell me if that puts you out of the action, opposed to staying at BW. We have stayed at BW twice before so I guess I just need to know from people who have seen the new BCV locations, is it out of the way and do you think that our teenage girls would like the boardwalk better?
thanks for all of your ideas ahead of time.

It's probably pretty hard to say since none of us have stayed in the BCV before. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time at either place. BW would be more of a sure bet since you've stayed there before, you know what to expect. But I don't think you could go wrong with either location.

I'd agree, you can't go wrong with either. BUT with kids that age that will want some "wandering space" I think BW offers the easiest ( and safest) access to the whole BW area. Having stayed at BW last year with two teenagers, they really liked being able to walk around in the evenings, but being just yards away from the access to the hotel.

but I vote for BCV for one reason: Stormalong Bay. *Awesome* pool - more a waterpark than a pool, really. And you're still only a short walk from all of the 'action' on the Boardwalk.

I'd try BCV just because it it new, but you may want to check availability at your seven month window. Betcha it's going to be a hot item. Then you can always fall back on BWV, which is a short walk (or boatride) closer to the "Boardwalk" action, anyway.

I own at BCV but for this I would choose BWV. Outside of SAB, you have more activity at BWV and it seems to be more central to both parks than BCV.

I don't think you can go wrong with either decision.

I would say BCV because of Stormalong Bay and because it is brand new. But I just asked my teenagers and they said BWV because of all the things to do right outside the door like going to ESPN to watch a game or use the game room, the nighttime entertainment on the boardwalk, the easy walk to Epcot & MGM. When I mentioned Stormalong Bay, their answer was "yes, if you were talking about 10-12 yo's not 16 yo's!!"
