Bcv or bwv studio at 7 months?

I would like to exprerience the Epcot resort area and so am thinking of staying 1 or 2 nights (fri and/or sat) at a BCV or BWV studio in Dec. before transferring to 2 BR at BLT for the remainder of our stay. I know early December is a popular DVC travel time, has anyone had sucess booking at either of these resorts at the 7 month window? Thanks

got three studios for the 2nd week of june at the 7 month mark....waitlisted for boardwalk view

It's possible, just not probable and far from guaranteed.

Call as soon as the 7 month window opens and waitlist if not available then. If you are OK with a Pool/Garden view, you have a reasonable chance of getting into the BWV. 1 bedrooms will be easier to get than the studios.

Please keep in mind that while it's great to hear of other's successes, if they weren't for early December, they really aren't relevant.

Might be tough for early December - that's a very popular time. I tried at 7 months in 2009 for a trip starting December 3 and could get only SSR.

I got BCV for late July at 7 months. Of course, that time of year is not as busy as early December.

I got BWV on two separate early December trips at 7 months. Once it was a standard view, once a preferred view, both studios.
