BCV or BWV in January???

It will be my family of 4 with 2 DS ages 3 and 5 and my parents. We are getting a two bedroom. We are currently booked at BCV but we are thinking of switching to BWV standard due to points. Any opinions???? It will be the third week in January.

If you can get the standard view, that's what I would do, if you don't mind having a lock off. I guess that every day won't be an "all day at the pool" day, so that's a factor.

We don't own at BCV, but do try to get in there during our May/June vacations.

Call and see if you can get the standard view before you cancel anything. I have a separate studio and 1 BR booked for Jan 6-12 and when I called to switch it to a 2BR, I couldn't get all the days and I would have even taken preferred. I did not go on the waitlist, because the rooms are for my sister and dbil and my nieces & nephews and I wanted the sure thing. Since I have standard studio & preferred 1BR, it would only be saving me 10 points, but I wanted it so that they could share the living room/kitchen of the 1BR. My sister just decided to come, so I was happy to get anything at six months out, but they only had preferred 1BR's available.

You cannot always get standard. January is not supposed to be busy, but I could not get all six nights.
