BCV Opening date

I was hoping to move my OKW reservation to the New BCV in October. I want to try out the new place. Plus its location to BWV and the other Epcot areas make it great for us.

How positive is DVC that they will be opening in August?

Are they taking reservations yet?

Their projection is August so I would think they would be ready for October. DVC reservations will start to be taken March 3. The 7 month window will apply for non-BCV owners.

Pam must have made a typo. The first date they are taken reservations for BCV is March 6th. Beleive me this date is embedded in my brain.

The 7 month window will fall in april for me so I hope I get a 1 bdrm.

Has anyone ever suggested playing games with the 7-11 month window? For example, since there are so many people here. Lets say that I wanted to stay at the BCV in Oct, but my home is OKW. I could ask someone to book BCV at the 11 month window and then transfer my points to him/her to cover the res.

I met somebody through the internet, and we do that all the time.I own at HH and they own at OKW. I make reservations for him and he does the same.You can only transfer 1 time. So you just have to trust the other person. For us its worked out great.
