Ok the debate on the view and the service road is underway. My question is,:

How will the access be to the Boardwalk? SAB? It is all pretty closed off as of now. Are you going to need to walk through the BC lobby to get to the "back"?

That I feel would be a little inconvenient. Or will they open a path on the Epcot side of the BC, by the bridge.

When I was last there, all of these details were hard to determine.

One of the reasons I love the BWV is the access. Granted, if you're down the long hallway, you do have a walk.

I want to do one more add-on, to round off my points. :) I am seriously considering another BWV resale, but have yet to rule out a BCV purchase with the $5. rebate.

By the time you find a resale, with the right use year, add on the closing costs and dues, if you get stuck with them, even at a good deal, it's close in price. Unless you get a real good one with some banked points.

So, time will tell for me, about 2 weeks and I'm shooting down for a night to look it over a little better?

Anyone input?

There will be a path along the Epcot side of the Beach Club. It's actually already in place. You should have quick access to Epcot and the Boardwalv via this path. I have a picture of the BC complex that shows it:

To get to SAB, I think you will have to walk through the lobby of the Beach Club. Of course, most BC guests have to walk through the lobby as well to get there.

I think there will be a new entrance into the BC, so you will be able to get to the store or BC quiet pool without going through the main BC entrance.

I wouldn't mind going through the lobby to get to the Boardwalk, but I sure wouldn't want to do that to get to SAB. I prefer a more "private" way to get to the pool.;) (If I'm swimsuit attire, I want everyone else around me to also be so attired. LOL). Hope your idea of a path on the EPCOT side is what they are planning.

If you want to avoid the lobby, I suppose you could walk around the BC to the main walkway that runs to Epcot, and then head back to SAB. I think there is another exit to the Crescent Lake side of the BC just before you get to the lobby, if you go down the hallway where the store is. This might work as well.

Great picture! It does appear that there is a walkway there.

As for SAB, it looks like the only "short way" there would be passing through the lobby. Not that I'm against walking through the lobby, just at BWV, you can avoid the lobby because it is on the "2nd" floor.

I will defiantely have to see it a little better before I decide. Not worried about the rooms, just the layout of the facility.

So, if I read this another way, it looks like if I grab a nice seat in the lobby with a good view, people will be walking by me in swim suits? Didn't know about this additional selling point.

The glass is definitely half full.

I imagine you could easily walk between resorts, and go out the existing exit to the existing BC quiet pool and then walk along the front of the building to the SAB. There are very nice swim shirts, wraps, robes, etc. available in the gift shop if I remember correctly, perhaps a little additional swim attire might easily take care of the problem.

With Disney's dilligent study of traffice flow and people flow patterns, I can't imagine being in better hands.

It does look like there is an entrace from the BCV into the BC at the end of the hallway by the store. If that is so you can then walk down the hall and exit behind the elevators (I beleive that is the butterfly court) and you could avoid the lobby.
