I have been on these boards since 1997 and nothing surprises me. There is one common thing that does trouble me and this has been true over the years(it used to be a lot worse) is that you can not post negative posts without someone sooner or later making some personal attack, instead of addressing the problems. Now the subject of BCV has come up with many posters giving negative experiences regarding the rooms, front desk treatment, the management, etc. One post stated that I do not like BCV, well he has got that right. I would never stay there because I do not stay in places that I know have problems. The poster than asks what problems and wants me to tell him--well where has he been the last couple of months or for the last year for that matter. The majority of negative reports have come from BCV, most are things that should never happen in a place that charges what they do for rooms. In fact a lot of the things should not happen anywhere. I try to stay in only the best places whenever possible and I am willing to pay for the best, but I must tell you I wonder about people that think what is going on at BCV is ok, well it is not, the prices for a normal room at BCV run from 294 to 459 (a studio) per night, when you pay for a room that is 356 square feet that kind of price you should get nothing but the best. AT BCV you are not getting it. There appears to be little effort to give the guest what they deserve either. These various complaints about BCV have been going on for a least a year. I think they have your money and they could care less about the product they but out over there. I have nothing to go on but the reports that keep coming in about the place--none of these things should be happening.
) and one day he "got sick" in the middle of our studio. We called housekeeping and asked if we could get some towels to clean it up, they came down with an armful of towels, plastic bags and wash clothes. After we were done cleaning up DH callled and asked where we should bring the dirty towels, he offered to bring them down himself but again they came to our door, all smiles, with a giant plastic bag, we dropped them in and they took them away. We were never charged a dime for the extra stuff and were VERY grateful. The next day he was feeling better and we went out to the parks, they came and did an extra cleaning for us even though we never requested it, again we weren't charged.
