BCV lock-off and other random questions

I'll try to keep this simple: I have multiple rooms at BCV in October. I have a 2BR from 10/18-10-26, and a 1BR from 10/19-10/27. Due to a change in our configuration, I can cancel the 1BR but I need the last night, the 27th, because we don't fly back until Sunday. Can I cancel the first 7 nights and only keep the last night?

Secondly, if I am in a lock-off can we divide the 1br and the studio onto two credit cards? I know we all would use the same keys, so I'm guessing no, but didn't know how that worked. If not, any other suggestions on how to divide the costs without having to keep every receipt and spend the last few hours of the trip itemizing? Seems annoying, I'm open to suggestions! It'd be us in the 1BR, and my sister, BIL & their granddaughter (4). They are very easygoing and I don't foresee any issues, but if there is a way to split the bill without having to sit down and hear somebody say "Who is responsible for 38 margaritas at La Cava?" that'd be great!

Final, general question: Is this going to be a crazy busy time? I know DVC is busy, as will be F&W, but a lot of good dining options are already booked, and cash rates are crazy high and it seems like cash availability is limited (was looking for somebody else recently). So, October 18-27th, what are we in for??

Thanks!

MS can modify the arrival date of a reservation to shorten the trip.

Reportedly, you can now set each KTTW card to have it's own CC for room charging.

Oh, yeah. October is crazy busy now, especially MK and Epcot with MNSSHP and F&W.

Our first trip was in October 1997 and it was billed as a quiet time at WDW. They had two Halloween parties in 1997, one on Oct 30 and one on Oct 31. I don't think F&W was even started yet. So to fill up the parks, Disney got smart and figured out ways to get lots of guests to come.

My advice is stay away from F&W on Fri and Sat. Lines are extremely long (unless you get there right when the World Showcase opens for the day) and it is not fun.

We only go to F&W during the week, and during the afternoon. What's odd is that several touring sites list the week we are going as one of the top 5 when combining weather and low crowds, so i guess opinions vary. We don't plan on any Halloween parties, will just do the parks in the morning and swim in the afternoon.

The room charges are on the bill by room key code. Go down to the Front Desk the night before check out and settle your bill. The CM can separate the charges and pay them with different credit cards.

You can put 2 different credit cards on one villa - we just did it a couple of weeks ago at BLT. It did not work out too well for us - all of the charges had the right name by them on the printout, but they did not charge to the right credit card. I went down the night before we checked out, and had a CM to manually separate all of the charges. If you go this route, be proactive about checking your charges and getting them on the right card.

So in theory you can associate a specific key with a specific card? Obviously with Disney's technological ineptitude I double check everything anyway, but were you able to assign a card to each key?
That would be ideal, again assuming it would actually work. Like i said, we have family in the attached studio but don't want to deal with one bill.

Thanks!
