BCV late Jan - 1st DVC trip, need advice

I'm so excited! We are taking our first trip to a DVC property in a few weeks and we are lucky enough to be staying at BCV. (1/28-2/4) I am reading a lot and trying to pick up bits and pieces of information, but with an infant and a toddler here, I don't have enough time to research as extensively as I'd like~I'm anal about planning.

I (think) I have learned that you can get a 20% discount on meals at the Swan/Dolphin? Do you just show your room key? (Does that room key have DVC on it?) What else should we know?

We are not at all new to WDW, we're there all the time, we've just never done DVC before and would love to hear about what is different & good to know ahead of time.

Welcome, you need to use your blue DVC card even though it will be on your room key. Try this link for a list of discounts. http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm#discounts scroll down to the WDW discounts, and if you follow it there is a PDF file you can also download and print as there are other you should know about. You will get a member perks at check in that may be more current also.

I hope you have at least a few ADR for restaurants, if not all dinners done by now, you can always cancel.
