BCV-Late Checkout?

Are we able to request and have a late checkout? If so, what is the usual time given?

There is no late checkout. However, we have often packed our belongings and stored them (either in the car or have them placed in guest storage). We keep one bag for toiletries and travel clothes. We keep that in the lockers in the fitness center. We spend part of the day at the pool, and when we are ready to leave, we shower and change. It works out very well.

We usually take the autotrain and do not need to leave until 1:30pm. We take advantage of that last wonderful morning. Sandie

None of the DVC resorts offer a late checkout. The villas take more time to clean than the standard hotel rooms, so they staff need as much time as possible to get them ready for the next guests. You can store your stuff with Bell Services, hit the parks, go swim, etc. Then pick up your stuff before you need to leave.

We always pack our stuff in the car and head to the parks. Then we take the resort transportation back to the resort and our car and head home.
