We stayed at the BCV 5/2 - 5/11. We had a wonderful trip and loved the room. We stayed in room 377, dedicated 2-bedroom Epcot view (great view of the fireworks). The room was the farthest from the elevators but very quiet as a result. My DD's loved the Ariel statue and SAB was fabulous. DD2 could not be dragged away from the baby pool. We did so many things, I will try to write a trip report, but no promises. We found the 2 bedroom to be suitable for all 8 of us since the kids are young (7,4,4,2) but would have been crowded if they were older.

Glad you had fun! Who else went on the trip with you? We have 4 kids ages 12,10,8, and 5. Our first trip tp BCV will be next spring break. I was wondering about the room sizes as we have not seen them, just diagrams. Our oldest daughter is as tall as I am! We have one son, the 8 year old. We were thinking of letting him sleep on the foldout and giving the 3 girls the 2nd bedroom. Did you use the foldout sofa? Would love to see your trip report, and next April I will let you know how it goes with bigger kids! Lacee

Was this a 2-queen dedicated, or sleeper dedicated?

Also -- did you find it hard to keep track of your kids at SAB? I am worried that our family will have to split up (someone go with boys, aged 7 and 8, someone else with dd, age 3) in order to keep tabs, and that's a bummer. At BWV, we could easily remain in the same area -- same goes for OKW and VWL. Have never tried SAB with my trio, and while I know they will love it, I only have one pair of eyes and hands for keeping them in check, so to speak!

Glad you enjoyed you stay, and thanks for any info you can toss our way!

CK1....we found SAB to be so long that we split up to watch our two daughters. And they were older than all of your children!

Your boys will almost assuredly want to go down the slide time and time again.

And DD3 will be entranced by the kiddie pool and playing in the sand.

These are at opposite ends of this large pool....and one end is not in visual contact with the other.

I think it is for this reason that we found SAB to have more unsupervised (by parents) children than the other pools we have visited. It really is big, and sometimes the kids take off in all directions and are hard to track!

One strategy you can try with kids of multiple ages is to hang out near the entrance to SAB where the slide empties. There is a whirlpool in this area that delights young children (they will need to wear a vest). This way you can watch the older kids come down the slide and watch the younger kids go around and around with big smiles. When and if you decide to bring the younger children to the tide pool area you may be able to supervise the older children while they enjoy the river/raft area. It may take more coordination and you may have to re-park yourselves but it's worth it!:D

We had a dedicated 2 queen bed.

I think you will have plenty of space for the six of you. The studio will give your girls alot of space in my opinion. We did not use the pull-out sofa so I can't really speak from experience. One downfall we found was drawer space. We really did not feel that there was enough room for our clothes although there is a decent amount of closet space.
Both of my children played in the baby pool so I really don't know how it would work with the children swimming in separate areas. For the younger children they have the swim vests which I am a big fan of! My 4-year old has been using one for 2 years now and can swim in any depth water (with me in arms reach of course). My DD would love any part of the pool as long as she had her vest, but I still think she would want to play on the beach for a while.
