BCV Issues

Having spent 4 days at a one bedroom villa (407, I think), my only complaints are:

1) Low water pressure
2) Warm (not hot) water

This has been brought up before and I need to say that I experienced this first hand. The water needs to be hotter and the pressure needs to be cranked up.

The funny thing is that on our previous stay in a studio at BCV, this was not an issue.

Humm, I wonder if they control the pressure and heat only for the larger units?

How does one go about making this heard by the powers that can actually do something about this?

I was there in November and I was in a studio and the water pressure was, well, was there any pressure? LOL. I didn't mind the warm not HOT water, but it sure seemed like it took a long time for it to get warm! I was on the 4th floor.

We were there in Deember in a studio (149) The water pressure was minimal, and the temperature was warm, not hot.

I am used to low water pressure. We have a well that does not have a great recovery rate. If someone flushes in the downstairs bathroom while someone else is showering upstairs, there is a significant loss of water pressure in the shower. The water pressure in the 5th floor studio that we stayed in is actually worse than the flush effect at home !

We were there last week in a studio, room 350.

I thought the pressure and temp were just fine. There was a shower head that looked like it added to the pressure.

We did have other problems which I will post in another thread.

Waiting to hear what was wrong with your stay at BCV. Isn't Rm #350 down the "arm" to the right? I was in #339, which is down that way, and I loved the view. Don't remember any problems with water pressure or hot water. Oh, yes-mousekeeping was less than perfect-found one crumb on my floor! I loved it, but I'm always interested to hear others' experiences.

Simba's Mom,

What view did you have in room #339? Is this a studio?

Thanks!:D

We were at BCV in Sept, in a one-bedroom. I don't remember these issues. We were in room #310.

I hope this isn't a common problem.
Sorry you had to deal with it.

Water pressure is a very common problem in hotels, because they use those stupid water-saving shower heads. I've never been in a hotel room (in recent years) where I didn't think this was a problem. I didn't think BCV was worse than any other hotel in this regard. I noticed the same thing at VWL and BWV, as well as hotels in other cities.

I stayed at BCV in Sept. Water pressure was terrible, but there wasn't a problem with the temperature. In Dec, we stayed at the Contemporary and the water pressure was great, even on the 11th floor. I have also had this problem at other hotels, but since they've found a way to fix it at the Contemporary, I hope they fix it (and soon!) at BCV.

BraveMom3-#339 is a studio, a dedicated one. It's on the "arm" to the right, the first room on your right after you go around the corner. I can't find Webmaster Doc's picture, so I'm not sure what the view is called-it's right on the edge between red and yellow (if you haven't seen his picture, that really doesn't help). It was a view of the courtyard, I guess, with a peek at Epcot (France) and the Boardwalk.

Thanks Simba's Mom,

I know exactly where you're talking about. Looks like a good location, and not far from the elevator.:D
