BCV in-room safe size

My DS just bought himself a MacBook Pro (13") and he wants to bring it with him on this trip. I am concerned about his being able to secure it properly in the room. Can anyone tell me if the in-room safe is large enough to accommodate it? Otherwise I may tell him to leave it at home. TIA

I don't think it would fit a 13" MacBook. It's pretty shallow and not very big height-wise.

However, I've stayed at the BCV a few times and always have my laptop with me on trips. When I leave I either slip it back into my book bag, but I'm sure I've left it out too. I've never had a problem. I doubt Mousekeeping/service staff really cares as they most likely see tons of laptops, iPads, chargers, cameras, etc. every day. The most I really do is make sure I password protect the computer when I put it to sleep when I'm out of the room.

Thanks very much! So true - we've left our iPods, iPhone charging in the room while we've been out. Guess I'm just paranoid. I'll let me DS know and he can make the decision about what he wants to do. I suppose he could get a laptop lock and secure to the desk or something like that.
